Biography

Alan Spicer Marine Telecom provides Internet Access Products and Services that allow marine vessels (boats, yachts, sailing and motor) to save money on Internet and Telephone Costs - with Internet Access products such as the Ericsson W25 3G Cellular Voice and Internet unit and Alan Spicer's Marine WiFi Hotspot Sharing System.

I also work on computers and laptops... Install and work with Navigation Software and NMEA Connections such as GPS location data - and provide consulting on most things electronic on boats.

Many projects are Remote Consulting projects - where I specify the products for you and provide the support for you to "do-it-yourself" install the product. My consulting and support agreements are very very low cost and help you beat the high cost of onboard technical labor. That and you get a person to call by phone or contact by email for questions and support about computers and communications All Year Long. It's worth about $10K. But what does it really cost? Well, how about $500.00 per year. Flat Rate. How does that sound? That includes documenting your project - telling you how to install, connect, and configure everything for a homogenous onboard computer network - often with multiple (Satellite, Cellular 3G, WiFi) Internet Access Systems - switchable on demand.

That's what I do. That's my nut shell.
