Mascalzone Goes through to final of Louis Vuitton

Race Four saw Artemis forced to the committee boat end of the start line while Mascalzone Latino Audi held them there, and then took off to a flying start. Artemis had to come from behind the committee boat and crossed the line well behind Mascalzone.

At the top mark Artemis came in from behind and with a tight turn headed down the left side of the course.

Artemis looked to be in front approaching the bottom mark when Mascalzone came in from the right and pushed Artemis out to the left, pinning them and keeping them away from the line. While both boats were having to build speed from a luffing stance Artemis took the opportunity to complete the penalty turn they incurred at the start and followed Mascalzone to the bottom mark.

Mascalzone turned quickly, but Artemis seemed to go very wide of the mark and the distance between the boats opened up. Mascalzone led by several boat lengths at the top mark and though Artemis managed to make up ground on the down ward leg they were unable to pull in the lead from Mascalzone.

With two wins to their name, Mascalzone Latino Audi go through to the final of the Louis Vuitton Trophy
