Arrgghhh!!!! It's been a busy year for all of us and I must admit that I am burned out with all this deadlines and projects in a writing services provider. Not only I am tasked to write articles but also I am doing support tasks in our publication department. Anyway my friend Tommy is a real saver as he gave me an invitation and ticket for me to attend his forthcoming wedding in Maldives. I must say that the moment that we arrived there, the place was magnificent and what really caught my eye is their local sailboats called Dhoni.

They are used to transport goods as well as people and it looks beautiful in the sunset at the middle of the sea. It is also used as fishing boats by the locals there. What's really amazing is that these boats are all handcrafted and  they are the oldest known sea vessel in Maldives. So much for boat-talk, I will tell you how delicious their delicacies are. What I remembered most is their Umbalakade or dried fish, and fish blood chutney (Rihakuru). How I wish I can go back here Maldives at my own expense.
